Oscar A. Rodriguez is the founder of Rodriguez Law PLC and U.S. Wage Theft Law, where his practice focuses on representing workers in wage and hour class and collective actions nationwide. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University Law School, Oscar brings more than 16 years of litigation experience to his advocacy on behalf of employees.
Throughout his career, Oscar has represented both employees and employers in federal and state courts, administrative tribunals, and arbitration proceedings. His background includes litigation involving the FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, ERISA, COBRA, and state and federal anti discrimination laws, as well as non compete and trade secret disputes. Today, his practice is dedicated exclusively to pursuing unpaid wage claims across the country, including in federal courts in Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.
Before founding Rodriguez Law PLC in 2025, Oscar spent 15 years at Hooper Hathaway, P.C., where he served as a partner in the firm’s civil litigation practice. Since 2022, he has also served as Of Counsel to Ash Law, PLLC, a firm focused on complex wage and hour litigation. Oscar is admitted to practice in all Michigan state courts, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the Northern District of Illinois, the Central District of Illinois, and the Second and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeals
